It’s a quote from the talk in the embedded video at the end of the post. Although I did not reference it again, it is the focus of the section with the subhead “When It’s Not Worth Taking Out of the Ground.” I am astounded the divestment movement hasn’t yet embraced efficiency more fully. Not only does it make easier to divest, but pressuring universities, foundations, corporations to invest in efficiency boosts their bottom lines while helping support the efficiency businesses.
